Specifications of CQUEAN

 

The camera has a focal reducer taking the f/13.6 beam down to a very fast f/4.6 beam.  
It is optimized for red use in 0.7 to 1.1 microns. R-band works well with no aberrations.  
Blueward of there it gets a bit less perfect. Pixels are 0.276 arcsec/pix and
the FOV is 4.7x4.7 arcmin (1k X 1k CCD).
The standard filters are SDSS griz + Y filter but other filters can also be used
(28mm diameter round filter 5mm thick).
The readout time is 0.1-0.5 sec. With its own auto-guiding system,
longer integrations are also possible, with 1200 sec the longest used so far.
